The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 8 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readA two-note composition with almost nothing on paper. Bergamot opens thin and bright, the citrus brief and almost ornamental — more a hint of lift than a developed top accord.
There is no heart in the listed pyramid, and the composition jumps to its base immediately, where amber asserts itself as the entire identity. The transition from citrus to amber is abrupt and short, with no transitional middle to soften the move.
The drydown is just amber, warm and powdery, with the resinous-sweet character the material has when used unaccompanied. Linear, skin-close, and undemanding, the perfume functions as an ambient amber comfort scent rather than a layered narrative — easy daily wear.
