By the editors · 2 min readLegni Fruttati — fruity woods — opens with an unusually generous top note collection: pear, magnolia, orange blossom, damask rose, and hawthorn layer a fruity-white floral brightness that's lush without being cloying. The pear provides a crisp, watery facet that keeps the florals from reading too heavy.
Cyclamen and grapefruit blossom carry the composition into the heart, adding a bitter-green edge that sharpens the transition. The base introduces oud alongside cedar and patchouli — a combination that lends the dry-down unexpected depth, woody and slightly smoky with a dark resinous quality that contrasts with the bright fruity opening. Vanilla and white musk soften the landing without erasing the character.
