By the editors · 2 min readVaniglia is exactly the proposition the name makes — a soft gourmand built around the bean, with no detours. A short citrus-strawberry flicker opens the bottle, more bottle-funk than statement, and within minutes myrrh and heliotrope fold the top into a powdery sweetness.
From the heart onward this is essentially vanilla, amber and white musk in close arrangement: warm, milky, slightly almondy from the heliotrope, never sticky. It hugs the skin rather than projecting, which is the right register for L'Erbolario's apothecary aesthetic — a vanilla you can put on under a wool sweater without flooding a room. Best in cool weather and at close range.
