By the editors · 2 min readCinnamon opens hot and dusty, its bark-like dryness sharpened by bitter almond and a thin orange peel squirt that keeps the top from turning pastry. The almond soon softens into a powdery, skin-hugging husk while neroli rises, adding a clean orange-blossom soapiness that stretches the fruit link into the heart. Sandalwood steams up from below, milky and pale, catching the residual spice and nutmeal to form a gentle woody marzipan accord that stays matte rather than sugary. Frankincense arrives late, a quiet resin fume that adds lift, so the dry-down smells like carved sandalwood beads stored with dried spice pods: warm, faintly sweet, never loud. Projection stays within handshake distance for about five hours, best for cool autumn days, smart-casual offices or weekend cafés.
