By the editors · 2 min readPlum and apricot open jammy and sun-warmed, their sticky sweetness already tinged with the copper warmth of skin. Cinnamon lands almost immediately, dusting the fruit with a dry, barky heat that keeps the accord from turning syrupy, while hazelnut chips in a toasted, oily crunch that splits the difference between praline and wood. The base swells as one dark, resinous wave: tonka gives soft almond coumarin, myrrh and labdanum smoulder with church-bench resin, benzoin pours honeyed vanilla, amber thickens the air, vanilla creams everything together, patchouli adds cocoa-earth grit, and musk anchors the cloud to the body. Over hours the fruit folds into the resins until only a tobacco-hued, nut-flecked amber glow remains, projecting an arm’s-length aura that feels made for cool evenings, leather jackets and low-lit cafés.
