By the editors · 2 min readGinger and pink pepper crackle open the scent, their hot sparkle lighting up peach fuzz and a split of green hazelnut that already smells roasted.. Lily of the valley slides in with detergent-clean freesia, diluting the nut’s oil while patchouli darkens the underside, turning the fruity brightness into a earthy-rosy hum. After an hour the flowers subside and the base trio of birch-tar, vetiver and returning patchouli dominate, giving a cooled campfire smokiness that the earlier spices merely hinted at. Projection stays at arm’s-length for most of the wearing, making it office-friendly yet quietly distinctive through the birch-leather tail. Wear it in cool spring evenings or crisp fall days when you want a woody-leather shadow that never shouts.
