By the editors · 2 min readFigues & Agrumes opens with black currant's tart-jammy darkness and a bright mandarin citrus — a brief, sharp contrast before the composition reveals its true subject.
Fig runs through both the heart and base, giving the fragrance a continuous milky-green thread. In the heart it registers as fresh and slightly watery; jasmine sambac adds tropical indulgence while orange blossom contributes warm honeyed softness. The double-jasmine construction — sambac alongside the standard note — creates unusual depth in what could otherwise be a straightforward fig fragrance.
Tonka bean and cedar anchor the dry-down with dry warmth; musk provides transparency. The fig stays present through the finish without cloying. A polished, summery fragrance that reads as more sophisticated than its mainstream positioning suggests — the jasmine sambac heart is the detail that elevates it.
