By the editors · 2 min readIris opens cool and chalk-dusted, its carrot-seed bite softened by a veil of powdered sugar. Orange blossom arrives within minutes, flooding the iris with honeyed white-petal light and pushing the composition toward clean, creamy soap. Vanilla and patchouli lock together in the base, vanilla thickening the texture while patchouli contributes a cocoa-dark earth that keeps the sweetness from turning syrupy. As skin warms, iris loses its mineral edge and fuses with the vanilla into a marzipan-like accord that hovers close to the body yet refuses to vanish. Silage stays polite, projecting an arm’s-length aura for the first three hours before collapsing to a skin-glow of pale almond and soft woods. Office-safe and spring-weight, it favors daytime wear when temperatures sit in the mid-range and formality stays business-casual.
