By the editors · 2 min readRaspberry and rose open together, the raspberry tart and fizzy, the rose joining immediately without a heart transition. It's a bright, jammy fruity-floral entrance with no ambiguity about direction.
The heart layers jasmine, pink pepper and peony around the rose. Pink pepper adds a sparkling lift that keeps the fruit from settling into syrup, and peony reinforces the rose's dewier facets while jasmine adds faint indolic depth.
Virginia cedar and musk close the composition. The cedar gives a clean dry-wood frame, and musk diffuses the rose-and-fruit into a soft, powdery cloud. The drydown holds the rose-fruit accord at low volume for a long time. A modern fruity-rose suited to casual and date wear in cooler weather.
