Sakeena
Sakeena opens with a fruit-and-sea accord that is unusually light for this house: passionfruit and mandarin orange over a breath of ozonic salt, which gives the opening a summery, aquatic-fruity character that reads more contemporary than classic Lattafa.

By the editors · 2 min readSakeena opens with a fruit-and-sea accord that is unusually light for this house: passionfruit and mandarin orange over a breath of ozonic salt, which gives the opening a summery, aquatic-fruity character that reads more contemporary than classic Lattafa. The heart is fuller, raspberry and rose softened by orange blossom and a lingering sea-salt freshness. Then the base pivots completely — toffee, praline, and vanilla arrive as a warm gourmand layer that slowly overtakes the earlier freshness. The effect is a split personality: breezy and edible at the same time, with the sweetness winning by the dry-down. Better suited to warm evenings than the fragrance's opening might suggest.
