By the editors · 2 min readWajood is a study in restraint for a house not known for it. Sea notes and pink pepper open with a salt-spray freshness, a breezy opening that signals something different from the house's usual amber-heavy template. The heart is dark and earthy — vetiver and patchouli together, without sweetening — and this is where the fragrance holds for most of its life. The base adds sandalwood and amber to soften the edges, but the composition stays cooler and drier than most Lattafa releases. Simple in architecture but the contrast between the marine opening and the woody-earthy core gives Wajood a character that is worth returning to.
