By the editors · 2 min readCinnamon and saffron hit immediately and hard — warm, resinous, and slightly medicinal. Incense and labdanum compound this into a dense, sweet-smoky opening that feels heavy from the first moments. There is little gentleness here; the composition announces itself with conviction.
The heart's amber deepens rather than softens, pulling styrax into a balsamic core that feels almost tar-like in its richness. Patchouli and musk in the base add an earthy, slightly animalic foundation. Sandalwood is present but barely audible beneath the resin and smoke. Dark, opaque, and persistent — this is a cold-weather fragrance that leaves a strong trail and takes hours to fully settle.
