By the editors · 2 min readVol d'Hirondelle is the lightest thing in the LMP catalog — a citrus chypre miniature. Lemon and bergamot at the top read freshly squeezed rather than candied, and the heart pairs jasmine and rose without sweetness, almost soapy.
The base is where the structure sits: vetiver gives the composition a green earthen spine, and a clean white musk drapes over the whole thing. There is no oud, no leather, no smoke — unusual restraint for the house.
Hot-weather wearable, daytime, casual. Low projection by Mazzone standards, but well-finished and quietly elegant.
