By the editors · 2 min readBergamot and clary sage open crisp and slightly bitter, setting a cool aromatic frame before the heart unfolds. Iris and rose create a cool-powdery floral layer that softens the edges without adding sweetness, letting the incense and leather push forward early. The base stacks smoky frankincense over tanned leather, vetiver sharpening the smoke with rooty green bite while amber and vanilla supply a quiet, resinous glow. Patchouli and styrax darken the trail, turning the leather matte and almost tarry as skin heat increases. Projection stays within arm’s length for six hours, then settles to a skin-print of dry woods and cooled ash. Cool evenings and smart-casual offices are the natural habitat; fall and early winter air keeps the smoke taut.
