By the editors · 2 min readBenzoin dominates, pouring a resinous, cola-sweet sheen straight onto skin. Cedar follows fast, shaving off the edges with dry pencil-shaving crispness that keeps the vanilla from turning custard. Sandalwood arrives in the heart, creamy and quiet, letting guaiac wood’s smoked-tea facet steep through the balsamic syrup. The base stays linear: benzoin’s soft leather impression anchors while vanilla thickens, never sugary, more like empty barrel staves after rum. Projection hovers at arm’s length for six hours, then collapses into a skin-polishing wood lacquer. Cool evenings, dark shirt collars, and low-lit restaurants fit its hush.
