Peau de Bête
An unapologetic skin-and-fur composition that opens on a hot crackle of black pepper, cumin and saffron — the spices feel pelt-warmed rather than kitchen-dry, immediately suggestive of body.
The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 14 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

The heart drives deeper: smoky guaiac and atlas cedar set against tarry styrax, dirty patchouli and a green flick of crushed grass. It reads as charred wood pressed against damp animal coat. The base of civet and castoreum is overt, salty, and unmistakably mammalian, lending the wood a leathered, almost feral lacquer.
The overall character is cinematic and confrontational: a leather and incense smoke wreath drawn tight around something living. Long-lasting, projective, and pointedly unsubtle.
