By the editors · 2 min readThere's no top — the fragrance opens directly into its base materials, with patchouli leading immediately. The patchouli is the chocolate-and-earth kind, dense and slightly camphoraceous from the start.
Vanilla enters quickly to round the patchouli, the pairing creating a comforting woody-gourmand chord that reads almost almond-tinged in its softness. There's a milky lactonic shadow underneath, lending the composition a faintly dessert-adjacent feel without going full gourmand.
Sandalwood and cedar provide a creamy woody backbone, with musk smoothing the finish. The drydown reads warm-earthy-sweet, with the patchouli persistence the central feature. Overall the character is a patchouli soliflore with vanilla support, cool-weather-leaning, evening or quiet daytime, comforting and unfussy, suited to those who like their patchouli central rather than supporting.
