By the editors · 2 min readWithout a top, the composition opens at peach in the heart. The peach reads juicy and lightly velvety — soft fruit rather than candied, setting a single, sweet-fruity tone for the first stretch.
The middle holds in this fruity register with little floral or spice elaboration, which makes the eventual shift into the base feel like the main movement. The peach gradually loses its top brightness and drifts toward warmer territory.
Amber, cedar and patchouli close the drydown — amber providing resinous warmth, cedar a dry-woody spine, patchouli the dominant grounding note with earthy depth. Overall character is a peachy fruity-amber with a patchouli-woody base — cool-weather, casual or early evening, comforting close.
