By the editors · 2 min readOpens with oud, Bulgarian rose, saffron, pink pepper, black currant and bergamot, the rose immediately wrapped in dark wood and a slightly tart fruit-spice halo. No light citrus period precedes the heaviness.
The heart pushes the rose forward further, joined by jasmine, patchouli and damask rose. The two rose varieties produce a dense, almost jammy floral, patchouli darkens the bouquet, and jasmine lends a faintly indolic shimmer.
The base of white musk, oakmoss, leather, guaiac wood, vanilla and grapefruit collapses into a smoky-mossy leather chord. Grapefruit briefly resurfaces, but oud and leather dominate. Projection is strong, and the trail reads as a dark, smoky rose-oud-leather composition built for evening.
