By the editors · 2 min readAnanda Tchaï begins with the composed clarity of a herbal arrangement — lavender, lemon, and bergamot, each distinct. The heart expands dramatically: sage, thyme, and cardamom bring a green-spiced quality, ylang-ylang and rose introduce a rich floral undercurrent, and heliotrope adds a faintly powdery sweetness. The base is where the fragrance fully reveals its ambition — oakmoss, tobacco, vanilla, and patchouli creating a deep, resinous foundation with genuine character.
Saffron and fruit notes from the general accord round out a fragrance that has more moving parts than most, and handles them well.
