By the editors · 2 min readA straightforward interpretation of modern oud-centric perfumery, opening with the smoky, resinous quality that defines commercial oud compositions. The wood here leans synthetic but confident—dark, dry, and immediate. There's a slight metallic edge in the first minutes, typical of amplified oud molecules, before settling into something smoother.

Sandalwood emerges in the heart with a creamy warmth that softens the initial severity. It doesn't possess the richness of Mysore sandalwood but provides enough body to bridge the sharper opening and the drier finish. Amberwood in the base adds a clean, slightly sweet woodiness—think blonde timber rather than ancient resin.

This is oud for those who want the idea without the animalic funk or astronomical price. Office-appropriate if applied lightly, long-lasting without being oppressive. A utilitarian fragrance that delivers exactly what the name promises.
