By the editors · 2 min readCitrus and lavender land first, a snap of orange and lemon over the herbal-aromatic dryness of the lavender heart. The opening reads as a familiar barbershop sketch, more crisp than animated, with the citrus fading inside the first hour.
What follows pulls everything down into earth. Oakmoss and patchouli set a damp, slightly bitter floor, and the amber smooths their edges without sweetening them much. The drydown stays close, leaning dry and woody rather than warm.
The overall character is a lavender-fougere reduction — clean opening, mossy-patchouli base, very little floral or gourmand interference. It wears as office-appropriate, mostly cool-weather, and reads more old-school than contemporary in its restraint.
