By the editors · 2 min readPlum opens with a dense, almost wine-dark sweetness that stains the iris-saffron accord violet-black. The heart layers orris dust over rose, turning the flower matte and leathery while the plum keeps fermenting underneath. Vetiver arrives early, its rooty bite drying the fruit and lifting the iris into cool, paper-powder territory. Amber and papyrus settle last: the resin warms the skin, the wood leaves a dry, ink-like sheet that keeps the composition angular rather than plush. Projection hovers at arm’s length for six hours, close enough for evening wear yet loud enough to tint a silk scarf. Cool fall nights and dim bars let the saffron-plum axis smolder without turning cloying.
