By the editors · 2 min readApple, lavender, clove and cardamom open with a fresh-spicy aromatic top that signals masculine fougère intent from the first minute. The apple keeps things accessible, the clove and cardamom add interest.
Sage and guaiac wood form a sparse herbal-woody heart. Sage continues the aromatic thread from the opening, and guaiac begins to push the composition toward dry, slightly smoky wood. The middle is short and clean, with no floral interruption.
Tonka, cedar, patchouli and musk close things out. Tonka warms with coumarin sweetness, cedar adds dry structure, patchouli reads modern-clean, and musk smooths. Overall the arc is a polite, well-mannered modern fougère with a soft spiced top — designed for office and date rather than ceremony.
