By the editors · 2 min readThe opening throws a lot at once: tropical pineapple and melon over ginger, cardamom, and nutmeg, with lavender and basil cutting in cool. Bergamot threads it together but the effect is busy, fruity-aromatic, with a 1990s-into-2000s polish.
The heart turns floral-violet with a green thyme echo, then drops into a substantial base where leather, oakmoss, vetiver, and patchouli ground the sweetness. Amber and vanilla pad the wood with a soft chypre-leaning resinous warmth, raspberry adding a quiet jammy lift.
The overall character is layered and old-school in scope, ambery-woody underneath a fruity-spicy top. Better in cooler weather; projects steadily before settling skin-close.
