The heart is where the composition reveals its identity: leather and oud braided with papyrus's dry green-smoky character, with rose folded in to add a slightly bloody floral curve underneath. The leather-oud pairing is dense and persistent, with the rose acting as a Middle Eastern accent.
The drydown is sandalwood, incense, frankincense, labdanum, and vanilla braided into a smoky-balsamic golden warmth, the vanilla cutting the smoke just enough to keep it from going austere. The overall reading is a smoky leather-oud oriental with a saffron-rose accent, dense and warm. Projection strong, longevity excellent, built for cold-weather evening wear.
