By the editors · 2 min readBergamot opens alone, polished and slightly bitter — a quick citrus glance rather than a citrus statement. Within minutes the structure narrows toward the heart.
Suede sits at the center, soft and powdery in the modern manner: not the smoky leather of a traditional cuir but a fine, slightly cosmetic suede impression. There is no floral or fruity bridge — the bergamot fades directly into it.
Patchouli and Virginia cedar form the base, the patchouli darker and earthy, the cedar dry and slightly pencil-sharp. Together they ground the suede with a quiet woody depth. Overall a minimalist suede-and-wood structure with citrus brightness on top. Projection close, drydown lingers softly.
