By the editors · 2 min readMarine air opens immediately, clean and slightly saline. Cardamom lifts through the aquatic quality with a fresh-spicy edge, keeping the opening from reading as synthetic or flat. Orange blossom adds a soft floral note just underneath, faintly creamy.
As it develops, vanilla and amber warm the composition noticeably. The marine quality doesn't disappear but recedes into the background, balanced against a growing sweetness from the amber-vanilla interplay.
Vetiver appears late, adding a dry, rooty texture that offsets the sweetness without going dark. The result is a coastal aquatic that carries genuine warmth — less beachy spray, more evening-by-the-water in cooler temperatures.
