Vanilla joins the florals almost immediately, sweetening the bouquet without turning it dessert-like. A galbanum thread sharpens the edges with a green-bitter snap, and clove appears briefly to add a small dark-spicy contrast. The whole heart reads opulent, old-Hollywood in posture rather than modern-airy.
Patchouli and musk anchor the floral mass into a warm, slightly animalic base, and amber-ambergris settles in underneath with a balsamic mineral depth. Projection is generous in the first hours; the drydown holds long, plush and slightly powdered, well into the next morning on skin.
