By the editors · 2 min readDouble Attack is built around a tight, intentional pairing: pink pepper's bright, dry heat in the opening and cinnamon's rounder, sweeter spice in the heart. Together they establish a warm-spicy profile that is assertive without being aggressive. The pink pepper lifts the cinnamon above a simple oriental sweetness.
Madagascar vanilla and sandalwood form the base, rounding out the spice with creaminess and soft wood. The vanilla here is in service of the spice rather than competing with it — it fills the edges without becoming gourmand or overtly sweet.
The overall impression is spare and direct, with very few moving parts. Longevity should be moderate given the resinous base, and the composition wears warm across its entire arc.
