The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 12 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readPink and black pepper open with incense and a thread of bergamot — peppery-sharp with smoke already in the air. The heart does the heavy lifting: patchouli, leather, oud, and Bulgarian rose stacked at full volume, with each note distinct rather than blended.
Labdanum, sandalwood, vanilla, and white musk anchor the base in a warm-resinous register that keeps the oud and leather from going harsh. The vanilla-labdanum pairing builds a clear amber accord under the smoke. Dense, slow-moving, with strong projection through the first three hours. Built for cold weather and evening dress — winter wear in the maximalist register.
