By the editors · 2 min readThe opening is a crowded fruit-and-spice market: pineapple, apple, peach, strawberry, orange, and bergamot tangled with cinnamon, cardamom, pink pepper, cumin, and coffee. Cumin lends a faint sweat-warmth, coffee a roasted bitter edge — the effect is dense and slightly chaotic.
The heart turns oud-led, with saffron's metallic warmth, jasmine and rose for floral relief, lily of the valley and violet for cooler facets, and cedar grounding everything in dry wood. Iris adds a faint powdery pulse.
The drydown is enormous: oakmoss, leather, civet, ambergris, vetiver, frankincense, labdanum, amber, vanilla, and patchouli stacked into a smoky, animalic, balsamic finish. The overall character is a maximalist oud-amber oriental — heavy projection, very long wear, cold-weather formal use.
