By the editors · 2 min readThe opening is dense and stewy — strawberry, plum, and black currant tangle with saffron, honey, tobacco, and orange. It reads less like a fruit accord and more like a spiced jam, with rose and bergamot threading sweetness through the edges.
The heart layers more material on top of more material. Magnolia, jasmine, ylang, and lily of the valley sit alongside more plum, vanilla, cedar, patchouli, and eucalyptus. The composition leans powdery and floral-oriental with a constant honeyed pulse.
The base is full-bodied: tonka, sandalwood, oakmoss, amber, vanilla, and praline build a sweet, slightly waxy resin. Tobacco persists faintly. The whole thing is loud, long-lasting, and unapologetically maximalist.
