By the editors · 2 min readPeach, orange, lemon, bergamot, and clary sage open together — a rich, slightly herbal-fruity burst. The clary sage adds a dusty, slightly camphoraceous quality that modulates the citrus-fruit brightness, giving the opening a more complex character than a simple citrus-fruit accord.
Oakmoss, myrrh, frankincense, labdanum, and patchouli form a densely layered base — smoky incense, dark resin, and earthy moss creating a significant contrast with the bright top. The transition from fresh-herbal-fruit to deep incense-resin is the fragrance's defining movement.
The dry-down is a mossy, resinous incense accord with patchouli depth — the citrus entirely dissolved. Rich and complex, this earns its place in the oriental-chypre category.
