By the editors · 2 min readYuzu opens with a sharp, almost mineral citrus edge that black pepper cuts into a dry, spicy sparkle. Narcissus enters early, its green-yellow floral bitterness threading through the peppered citrus and dragging a subdued rose along, keeping the heart cool rather than lush. As the florals fade, labdanum’s leathery-resinous drag merges with ambergris’s salty, skin-warm funk, building a dense, slightly animalic amber accord that lingers close to skin. The base stays linear: the two ambery materials fuse into one matte, gray-brown chord that smells like wet concrete and warm wool. Projection stays within arm’s length for six hours, tilting urban and autumnal.
