By the editors · 2 min readEau de Yuzu is built almost entirely around a single citrus note. Yuzu opens with its characteristic combination of grapefruit bitterness and lemon sharpness, carrying a faint floral edge that makes it feel more complex than a straight citrus squeeze.
Grapefruit in the heart mirrors the top without changing direction, extending the citrus phase rather than transforming it. The composition stays bright and linear through most of its life.
Guaiac wood and patchouli appear late, adding a thin woody and slightly earthy underpinning. They prevent a complete evaporation but don't reshape the perfume. This reads as a deliberate, stripped-down citrus study — short-lived by design, best used generously.
