By the editors · 2 min readThe opening arrives as a soft blur of orchard fruits—pear and stone fruits—tempered by the faint prickle of pink pepper. It's a gentle introduction, almost apologetic, before the fragrance settles into its true intent: a sprawling white floral arrangement centered on lily. The heart is dense with petals, though lily dominates with its clean, slightly soapy sweetness. Gardenia and jasmine provide cream and warmth, while iris and violet add a powdery veil that keeps the florals from feeling too brazen.
The base is surprisingly traditional for a floral released in the mid-2000s. Sandalwood and vetiver anchor the composition with woody composure, while amber and vanilla round out the edges. A whisper of oakmoss and patchouli gives it an old-fashioned backbone, closer to classic perfumery than the fruit-drenched florals of its era. The overall effect is polite, restrained femininity—a lily bouquet left on a wooden dresser rather than worn as bold adornment.
