Sonnet About White Rose (Сонет О Белой Розе)
No top or heart notes are listed, which makes this a base-only structure on paper: white musk, amber, castoreum, and rose.
The scent fingerprint
Weighted by intensity across 16 accords.
Every perfume in Sillage is represented as a distribution across canonical accord slugs — a lingua franca for scent. Two fragrances with overlapping fingerprints are scent-twins, even if they share no literal note.

By the editors · 2 min readNo top or heart notes are listed, which makes this a base-only structure on paper: white musk, amber, castoreum, and rose. The composition is effectively a drydown from the first minute.
Castoreum is the surprise — leathery, slightly tarry, with an animalic depth that pulls the rose down from prettiness into something darker and more skin-like. The amber wraps around both materials, lending warm resinous weight.
White musk smooths and extends; without it, the castoreum would dominate. The overall character reads as a rose-leather-animalic accord with vintage chypre-leather DNA — closer to old-world animalic florals than modern clean ones. Cooler-weather, evening-leaning, with intimate projection but a long, slow-shifting drydown. Sparse pyramid means inference is heavier than usual.
