Clary sage at the heart deepens the herbal mood. It brings a dusty, ambrette-like quality that pairs neatly with the anise, and the composition takes on a contemplative green-aromatic feel rather than anything bright or floral.
White musk and ivy in the base lock in the green direction. Ivy contributes a wet leaf, almost vegetal note that pushes the whole thing closer to crushed grass than to powder, while white musk diffuses the herbs softly into the skin. The drydown is quiet, herbaceous and slightly cool, suited to spring and warm weather with a gentle, restrained presence.
