By the editors · 2 min readSaffron and rose open in a classic Khaleeji handshake — saffron leathery and warm, rose pushed toward jam by the dry spice. The opening reads dense and unambiguous about its direction.
Jasmine sits alone in the heart, indolic and creamy, bridging the saffron-rose duet into the base. The middle is brief and the white floral fuses with the rose rather than standing apart, which keeps the composition's centre of gravity in the floral-spice register.
Amber, patchouli and musk close the composition with a plush, rounded drydown. The patchouli is clean rather than earthy, the amber sweetens the resin core, and musk holds it to skin. Overall the arc is a compact rose-oud-amber attar shape, polished and direct.
