By the editors · 2 min readA small-format tropical floral that signals its register early. Bergamot opens thin and bright, more a hinge than an event, leading into the heart almost immediately.
The centerpiece is ylang-ylang and orange blossom — banana-creamy and citrus-honeyed respectively — which together build a sun-warmed white-flower impression without recruiting tuberose's heavier weight. There's an old-fashioned simplicity to the pairing.
The base does steady work: sandalwood for milky-creamy backbone, amber for resinous warmth, vanilla for sweetness. None of the three pushes hard, so the dry-down reads soft and beach-adjacent rather than fully oriental. The overall character is unforced and warm-weather, suited to outdoor wear where most of its value comes through close-range rather than projection.
