By the editors · 2 min readMint, grapefruit, and galbanum create a sharp, green-citrus opening with a cool, slightly bitter edge. As the top fades, jasmine, heliotrope, and rose build a soft floral heart that tilts powdery through the heliotrope — almond-adjacent without being sweet. Cedar and patchouli add dry structure underneath.
The base is genuinely rich: oakmoss and benzoin bring mossy, resinous depth, while tonka bean, vanilla, and amber layer on a warm, slightly gourmand softness. Musk ties it together. The full arc is wide — green and tart up top, powdery floral in the middle, warm and mossy at the bottom. A composition with clear vintage character and real developmental movement.
