The heart fans out into a heady jasmine-mimosa-rose chord, indolic and powdery at once. Then the base hits, and it hits hard: oakmoss, patchouli, honey, amber and iris build a thick, animalic chypre floor that smells of dark resin, beeswax and damp earth. Sandalwood and musk thread through to keep the texture cohesive. Projection is significant; longevity stretches across an evening and onto fabric the next morning.
Overall an opulent, full-bodied honeyed-floral chypre with serious presence.
