By the editors · 2 min readLe Cri de la Lumière opens with a burst of raspberry and bergamot — tart, sheer, and bright, almost transparent in the way it arrives. There's no confusion about what comes next: iris steps in with its characteristic cool, slightly floury presence, rooty and a little aloof. The fruit evaporates quickly rather than lingering, making space for something purer.
Patchouli in the base doesn't darken here — it grounds without going murky, adding a slight earthiness that extends the iris without clouding it. Musk keeps everything close to the skin. The overall impression is clean abstraction: structured and deliberate rather than warm or approachable. A niche iris for someone who finds traditional florals too inviting.
