By the editors · 2 min readPineapple dominates from the first spray, its juicy acidity sliced by birch's raw, tarry smoke. The heart keeps the fruit alive while jasmine adds a clean white-floral lift and rose contributes a faint honeyed sweetness that softens the birch's rough edges. Birch carries into the base where it meets ambergris' salty skin-like warmth and patchouli's cocoa-earth undertow, creating a leather-tobacco illusion without literal leather. Vanilla vanilla rounds the smoke, preventing the composition from turning harsh, while a quiet bergamot echo brightens the later stages. Projection stays arm-length for six hours before collapsing to a woody-skin whisper, making it office-safe yet present through a workday. Works best in mild spring or crisp fall weather when the birch smoke won't feel heavy.
