By the editors · 2 min readPink pepper and black currant open with a soft-spicy and subtly tart fruity lift that feels bright and effervescent on initial contact. Orris root emerges quickly, its powdery and earthy texture tempering the top notes into a smooth, velvety floral heart. Brown sugar and vanilla introduce a warm, creamy sweetness that blends seamlessly with the powdery iris accord. Patchouli provides a dry, earthy foundation that grounds the sweetness and adds a subtle woody depth. The composition remains relatively linear after the first hour, settling into a sweet-powdery-woody accord that stays close to the skin. Projection is moderate initially but recedes to an intimate sillage within two hours, best suited for casual daytime wear in spring or fall.
