By the editors · 2 min readThe opening is a powdery floral rush, bergamot barely tempering the heady sweetness of jasmine and ylang-ylang. There's an immediate vintage quality here, something that recalls mid-century French perfumery before minimalism took hold. The rose and peony soften what could be an overwhelming white flower assault.

As it settles, an unexpected green edge emerges from violet leaf and galbanum, cutting through the fruit and florals with a slightly bitter clarity. Peach and blackcurrant add roundness without turning juvenile, while iris lends a cool, almost metallic refinement. The clove is subtle, a warm spice accent rather than a statement.

The drydown is warm and enveloping, sandalwood and amber creating a soft, musky base that holds close to skin. This is unabashedly romantic fragrance, not for those seeking restraint or androgyny. It suits someone comfortable with classic femininity, perhaps worn to evening occasions where a certain formality still matters.
