By the editors · 2 min readThe opening reads cool and rooty: orris adds a powdery iris quality while pomegranate and black currant supply a tart, slightly green fruit lift. The combination feels both vegetal and refined, never juvenile.
In the heart, Bulgarian rose blooms against a creamy vanilla, softening the fruit and lending a confectionary edge. There is a marzipan-like sweetness that emerges as the iris and vanilla overlap.
The base settles into tonka bean and patchouli, where the patchouli adds an earthy, slightly chocolatey depth. The overall character is gourmand-floral with iris doing the structural work, suited to cooler weather and evenings, with comfortable longevity and a presence that stays close after the first hours.
