The heart is where the construction pulls in two directions at once: Bulgarian rose stays jammy and central while jasmine and violet add powder and lift, and a thread of lavender threads through, lending an almost fougère quality unusual under a rose. Soft pepper continues to crackle behind the petals.
The base settles on white musk, tonka and sandalwood-cedar, giving a warm, slightly creamy floor. The overall character feels like a rose dressed up as a herbal cologne — fresh-spicy, lightly powdered, easygoing, and more genteel than seductive.
