By the editors · 2 min readA clean lemon-bergamot opening is barely a pause before the composition lands in its real subject: a rose-jasmine-ylang heart with the powdery hush of orris running through it. The flowers are cool, neither jammy nor green — closer to a cut bouquet on a marble counter than to a garden.
The base draws a quiet chypre line. Oakmoss and patchouli supply the green-damp foundation, sandalwood adds creamy weight, and pink pepper lifts the dry-down with a thin spice. Nothing animalic, nothing gourmand — the perfume stays composed, with iris doing most of the visible work in the second hour.
